Constitutional Amendment

I feel that there should be an amendment that says the government should do more for the poor. Like free healthcare and some way to help people with a lower quality of life. I think the government should care more about its people and less about money and things like that. An amendment like that would be better for America and our image.

Believing...

There's nothing I want to believe again because there must of been a lesson I learned from not believing in the thing I don't believe in anymore. I'm happy with what I believe now.

Inside and out

I know a few people who are big in the outside and small in the inside. Good character can show how big someone is in the inside even if they aren't. When someone is a jerk or disrespectful it truly shows what kind of person they are. I believe I am a person of good character so that reflects on other people. It doesn't matter how big of a person you are in the outside, people respond to good attitudes and respectfulness.

Saving and Spending

I believe I'm a saver. People always tell me I make good investments and I only buy whats needed and not what I want. I agree with the article. That people need to know when to have self control and discipline. I feel people generalize generations when each generation has had its problems. So if I were to generalize I'd say that there is no uniqueness and individualism.
People always want to be followers and never take action. People think they need to do more than they should without putting effort into what they're doing.

The Tribe of...

I belong to the tribe of cool. To the tribe of intelligent people with common sense. To the tribe of liberal. To the tribe of people who care. To the tribe of hilarity. These are the tribes I belong to.

Are you an extrovert or an introvert?

I believe that I am an extrovert. I like to remain alone to organize my thoughts. It is something I do to relax. At the same time I like to be friends and family but the times spent alone help me greatly. Without them I would go insane. I prefer to do my own thing and to be my own person. So I believe I'm an extrovert.

Life Law 10

"You have to name it before you can claim it." means you need to know your decision before you actually do it and take action. If you do not know what you want to do in the future then when you finally make a decision it wont end successfully. Also a person needs to want something for the right reasons, for reasons other than popularity and so that you blend into the crowd. For reasons that really affect your life in a positive way. This step is probably the most important step in making your life better.

Life Law 8

We teach people how to treat us. The responses we give people day to day trains a person how to react to you response. Some would say its the patterns we bring out ask a person. If someone has a problem , you can either blame yourself and get angry or you can retrain how the person treats you. People over time get use to a persons social skills and how they work. Its up to the individual to be able to train themselves to do the right thing.

Life Law 6 "There is no reality, only perception"

Perception is how people see things, its how people perceive the world and the things around them. How you see the world affects the way you feel, your relationships, and how you live your life. There are different ways of seeing things. Things about how you see peers, relationships, and self worth. A persons emotions can be affected because of the way you see the world. For example you could see a girl and you could think a lot of things about that person, like if shes a liar someone might say she is "two-faced" So perception is everything. Everyone has and its not always the same.

Life Lessons 5: Perseverance

Perseverance is something I believe barely anyone has anymore. Its something that gives a person character. It allows someone to really be who they are.
I believe life lesson 5 shows that there are things to care about in the world. People have things to be happy for.
People, goals, and life in general.

Walt Whitman "The World Below The Brine"

This is probably my favorite poem from the poet Walt Whitman because it goes into a deeper meaning than what meets the eye.The poem has an ethereal feel to it that really captures the readers imagination. I truly recommend it.

HE world below the brine,

Forests at the bottom of the sea, the branches and leaves,

Sea-lettuce, vast lichens, strange flowers and seeds, the thick tangle openings, and pink turf,

Different colors, pale gray and green, purple, white, and gold, the play of light through the water,

Dumb swimmers there among the rocks, coral, gluten, grass, rushes, and the aliment of the swimmers,

Sluggish existences grazing there suspended, or slowly crawling close to the bottom,

The sperm-whale at the surface blowing air and spray, or disporting with his flukes,

The leaden-eyed shark, the walrus, the turtle, the hairy sea-leopard, and the sting-ray,

Passions there, wars, pursuits, tribes, sight in those ocean-depths, breathing that thick-breathing air, as so many do,

The change thence to the sight here, and to the subtle air breathed by beings like us who walk this sphere,

The change onward from ours to that of beings who walk other spheres.

Walt Whiteman

A poet from America who has had controversial work but is a key topic in discussions about poetry. He's most known for his poetry.  Hes writes using realism. "Poets To Come" is probably my favorite poem from him because its some I can relate to.

some think that people learn better by themselves than from the help of a teacher. Do you agree or disagree?

I feel that some work is needed to be learned by yourself to truly understand it. A teacher is there to guide the student to help him/her get to the right answer. So I think its a mix between individual work and help from a teacher. Life skills that are learned everyday should be discovered by the individual. When it comes to academics a teacher is needed.. It all really depends on the person and the subject being taught though and really its up to the student learning the subject.
